A stunning Keshi Pearl and a warm pink faceted Tourmaline float in a dark halo of patinated sterling silver. The bright, Fine silver bail sets off the white pearl perfectly. Keshi pearls are a natural byproduct from an oyster when it is seeded for a round cultured pearl. The keshi pearls are not seeded, but form between the oyster and its shell once it is opened. They are quite unusual in this large size, almost an inch in diameter. This pearl was once a bead, but is so spectacular I decided to put a halo around it instead! The Tourmaline is a natural untreated 5mm faceted stone. The halo is darkened using an old Korean formula (Gin-Hurubi) that is very durable and won’t rub off. The pendant is almost 2″ long and 1-3/4″ wide.
The pendant is not supplied with a chain.
