"Ground Water" pendant brooch is a stunning, one of a kind creation. I created the Sterling silver "ground" to look like dark, layered bedrock and used sumptuous blue stones to represent water drops. The 4mm round, deep blue Sapphire (lab grown) and 3mm round light blue Aquamarine (natural) are poised to filter down, through the ground, to emerge as a 7 x 10mm London Blue Topaz water drop set in a 22k Gold bezel. I fused 23k Gold foil to some of the drops in the ground. All of the gold just "pops" against the dark silver background. Both a pendant and a brooch, this piece is versatile. You can put it on a chain and wear it as a pendant, or pin it onto your scarf, lapel, hat, whatnot. The pin stem is made from sturdy, springback stainless steel. The piece is 1-7/8" long x 1-1/2" wide.
