A Sterling silver honeybee with golden stripes sits atop a honeycomb with a dangling drop of Citrine honey on this beautiful handmade honeybee pendant. This honeybee necklace is about 18 inches long and is adjustable down to 17 inches. The bee focal is 7/8 inches long, 3/4 inch wide. The Citrine drop is 1/2 inch tall, 3/8 inch wide. The entire length of the pendant, including the drop is 1-5/8 inches.
 
I pressed the honeybee using a vintage die carved over 100 years ago! I then fused 23k gold stripes to it and gave it a bit of a patina.  The Citrine is high grade with AGTA code (H) for heat treating.
 
The clasp is a large lobster style clasp, so it's relatively easy to operate and secure. I have put an additional loop in the chain at 17" so that the necklace can be worn at either length, providing flexibility.
